Single Peptide5mgResearch-Based Protocol

Thymosin Alpha-1 (5mg) Dosage Protocol

Thymosin Alpha-1 (Tα1) is a 28-amino acid peptide originally isolated from thymic tissue. It is approved in over 35 countries as Zadaxin for hepatitis B/C and as an immune modulator. It enhances T-cell and dendritic cell function.

Quickstart Highlights
Reconstitute

Add 1.0 mL bacteriostatic water → 5 mg/mL

Daily Range

1.6mg twice weekly (approved dose) or up to 3.2mg/day in acute settings

Easy Measuring

At 5 mg/mL: 32 units = 1.6mg (standard dose)

Storage

Lyophilized: -20°C; Reconstituted: 2-8°C for up to 4 weeks

WeekDaily DoseUnits (per injection)
Standard (Chronic)1.6mg32 units twice weekly
Acute/Loading1.6mg every 12h32 units twice daily
Maintenance1.6mg 2-3x weekly32 units per dose
Reconstitution Steps
  1. 1Draw 1.0 mL bacteriostatic water with a sterile syringe
  2. 2Inject slowly down the vial wall to prevent foaming
  3. 3Gently swirl until fully dissolved - do not shake
  4. 4Label with date and concentration, refrigerate immediately
How This Works

Thymosin Alpha-1 enhances T-cell maturation, increases T-helper cell function, and augments dendritic cell activity. It modulates cytokine production and has been shown to restore immune function in immunocompromised states. Clinical trials for hepatitis B showed 26-week treatment with 1.6mg twice weekly.

Potential Benefits & Effects
Observations from preclinical and clinical literature
  • Approved in 35+ countries for hepatitis B/C
  • Enhances T-cell and NK cell function
  • Supports immune response in immunocompromised patients
  • Used as adjunct therapy in cancer treatment
