Melanotan II & PT-141 Stack (10mg MT-II + 10mg PT-141) Dosage Protocol
A melanocortin receptor stack combining Melanotan II (tanning and libido) with PT-141/Bremelanotide (FDA-approved for HSDD). Both act on MC receptors but with different selectivity profiles.
MT-II: 2mL → 5mg/mL | PT-141: 2mL → 5mg/mL
MT-II: 250-500mcg | PT-141: 1.75mg as needed
Both at 5mg/mL: 5 units = 250mcg, 35 units = 1.75mg
Lyophilized: -20°C; Reconstituted: 2-8°C for up to 4 weeks
| Week | Daily Dose | Units (per injection) |
|---|---|---|
| MT-II Loading | 250mcg daily for 1-2 weeks | 5 units daily |
| MT-II Maintenance | 250-500mcg 2x weekly | 5-10 units 2x/week |
| PT-141 | 1.75mg as needed (max 8x/month) | 35 units per use |
- 1Melanotan II: Add 2.0 mL bacteriostatic water → 5 mg/mL
- 2PT-141: Add 2.0 mL bacteriostatic water → 5 mg/mL
- 3Gently swirl each vial until dissolved - do not shake
- 4Label both vials with date and concentration
Both peptides act on melanocortin receptors but with different profiles. Melanotan II activates MC1R (tanning), MC3R, MC4R, and MC5R, providing broad effects including tanning and libido. PT-141 (Bremelanotide) is more selective for MC3R/MC4R in the CNS, providing targeted libido effects. PT-141 is FDA-approved as Vyleesi for HSDD in women.
- MT-II for tanning and UV protection
- PT-141 is FDA-approved for HSDD
- Both support libido through MC4R
- MT-II provides longer-lasting tanning
- PT-141 for on-demand use
- FDA Prescribing Information - Vyleesi (bremelanotide)
