Gonadorelin (2mg) Dosage Protocol
Gonadorelin is a synthetic form of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH). It stimulates the release of LH and FSH from the pituitary gland and is used in fertility research and hormone function testing.
Add 2.0 mL bacteriostatic water → 1 mg/mL (1000 mcg/mL)
50-100 mcg per injection, 2-3x weekly
At 1 mg/mL: 5 units = 50 mcg, 10 units = 100 mcg
Lyophilized: -20°C; Reconstituted: 2-8°C for up to 2 weeks
| Week | Daily Dose | Units (per injection) |
|---|---|---|
| Standard protocol | 50-100 mcg | 5-10 units per injection |
| Frequency | 2-3x weekly | Every 2-3 days |
| Duration | 4-8 weeks | Per research protocol |
- 1Draw 2.0 mL bacteriostatic water with a sterile syringe
- 2Inject slowly down the vial wall to prevent foaming
- 3Gently swirl until fully dissolved - do not shake
- 4Label with date and concentration, refrigerate immediately
Gonadorelin mimics natural GnRH, binding to receptors in the pituitary to stimulate LH and FSH release. Pulsatile administration maintains physiological hormone patterns, while continuous exposure can cause receptor downregulation and suppression.
- Stimulates natural LH/FSH release
- Maintains physiological hormone patterns
- Research tool for fertility studies
- May support testicular function

Lyophilized
Store at -20°C, protected from light
Reconstituted
Refrigerate at 2-8°C, use within 2 weeks
Short half-life requires pulsatile administration
- •FDA-approved for diagnostic use
- •Pulsatile dosing required for stimulation
- •Continuous use causes suppression
- •Short half-life (2-4 minutes)
